What information does BabyBites handle?

Account and authentication information may include your name, email address, user identifier, and sign-in provider details. Information you add to personalize the service may include a child's age or birth date, feeding approach, allergies, dietary preferences, foods tried, reactions, meals, plans, grocery items, and feeding notes.

If you choose camera, photo-library, scanner, or voice features, BabyBites processes the image, audio, or derived text needed to provide the requested result. Device and service data may include notification tokens, app version, device type, crash information, security events, and basic website usage data.

Why is this information used?

BabyBites uses information to authenticate accounts, personalize meal and feeding tools, save user-selected content, operate image or text analysis requested by the user, deliver notifications, support purchases, secure and troubleshoot the service, answer support requests, and understand acquisition and product performance. Analytics may record page views, store-button clicks, app first opens, screen views, onboarding completion, and coarse subscription milestones. Baby names, allergy selections, feeding notes, images, audio, and free text are not intentionally sent as analytics event parameters. Feeding and allergy details provide product context; they are not used to diagnose a medical condition.

Which service providers support BabyBites?

BabyBites relies on service providers to run parts of the product. These include Supabase for backend and account services, Google services such as Gemini, Google sign-in, and Firebase Analytics, Firebase for messaging, analytics, and app infrastructure, RevenueCat for subscription management, Apple and Google for app distribution and purchases, and Vercel for website hosting and analytics. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.

Does BabyBites sell or share personal information?

BabyBites does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be disclosed to service providers that operate the product, when a user directs a feature to share information, to protect users and the service, or when required by law. BabyBites does not knowingly disclose a child's feeding profile for advertising.

How long is information retained?

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and records, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention can vary by data type and provider. Backups and records required for fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance may remain for a limited period after an account request is completed.

How can I access, correct, or delete information?

You can change some profile and feeding information inside the app. To request access, correction, export, or deletion of cloud account data, email apexstack.dev@gmail.com from the account email and describe the request. Signing out or clearing data on one device does not by itself guarantee deletion of cloud account records. We may need to verify the request before acting.

How does BabyBites approach children's privacy?

BabyBites is designed for parents and caregivers, not for children to create or manage accounts independently. Adults should provide only the information needed to use the service and should not upload unnecessary identifying information about a child.

How is information protected and processed internationally?

BabyBites and its providers use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information, but no online service can promise absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their legal and contractual safeguards.

How will policy changes be communicated?

Material changes will be reflected on this page by updating the date above. If a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, BabyBites will provide it through an appropriate product or account channel.

How can I contact BabyBites about privacy?
