BabyBites Editorial Team is the organizational byline for our educational content. It represents the BabyBites publishing process, not a doctor, dietitian, clinician review, or medical endorsement.
How do we choose and support health claims?
We prioritize current primary guidance from the CDC, FDA, NIH and NIAID, and the American Academy of Pediatrics through HealthyChildren.org. UK or Canadian guidance is used only when a page is specifically relevant to that country. Material claims appear beside their supporting source, and exact numbers are used only when the cited source or verified BabyBites data supports them.
What BabyBites content can and cannot do
Our content is conservative, general education for caregivers. It does not diagnose, prescribe, personalize medical advice, or determine whether a food is safe for a particular child. Feeding, allergy, choking, premature-birth, development, growth, swallowing, and other health concerns belong with a pediatrician or another qualified clinician.
How are articles written and checked?
Automated tools may assist with research organization, drafting, source-link checks, structured data, and technical quality gates. Before publication, a guide must have a focused search intent, an answer-first opening, visible primary sources, internal links, a unique canonical URL, accurate metadata, appropriate schema, and a successful site build. Automation is not presented as clinical review.
How do updates and comparisons work?
Guides display their original publication date and most recent material-update date. We prefer improving a useful existing guide over creating a near-duplicate page. Comparisons are published only when there is distinct reader demand and each material statement can be verified publicly; they remain neutral and do not invent winners, rankings, testimonials, or endorsements.
How can readers request a correction?
Email apexstack.dev@gmail.com with the page URL, the statement in question, and a reliable source if available. We review correction requests and update the visible modified date when a change materially affects the guidance.
